Abstract

1377023 Developing electrostatic latent images XEROX CORP 29 Feb 1972 [1 March 1971] 9321/72 Heading G2H Electrostatic latent images on drum 8 are developed by cascading with a mixture of ferromagnetic carrier particles and non-magnetic toner particles, controlled by a magnet 36. Preferably the magnet is an electromagnet, but it may be a rotatable permanent magnet, with pole pieces which can be positioned either against conduit 32 or away from it.
