Abstract

1471253 Casings for pressurized dispensing containers DANA (ENGLAND) Ltd 12 Dec 1974 [12 Dec 1973] 57464/73 Heading F1R A casing for housing an aerosol type bottle comprises a tubular body 1 into which is pushed from the lower end an end closure/valve button actuator 4 provided with ribs 6 and 8 which have portions which engage a depending flange 7 to retain the end 4 in the casing. The ribs 8 are closely spaced to form a guide between the outlet from a spray button and an outlet 2 in the body 1, and they also engage in a longitudinal recess 11 in the body whereby the end 4 is guided into position. After insertion of a bottle B so that ribs 4a on the end 4 are engaged by the button, the body is closed by a snapped-in plate 12.
