Abstract
1469609 Fibre disintegrator feeders E FEHRER 17 Dec 1975 [23 Jan 1974] 51620/75 Heading DIN In a feeder in combination with a fibredisintegrating unit which precedes a spinning station a rotatable serrated drum 1 is preceded by a pair of feed rollers 2, 3 the fibre guiding roller 2 of which is smooth and its distance from the flight cylinder of the serrations 6 is variable, a cover 4 follows the roller 2 on the surface of drum 1 from which its distance is minimized, the second feed roller 3 is located in the triangular space between roller 2 and drum 1 and the feed rollers are preceded by two pairs of pinch rollers 7, 8 and 9, 10 which run at increasing peripheral speed in the direction towards the drum. The pinch rollers each have a hard core 11 and rubber elastic surfaces 12 and their distance apart is variable.
