Abstract

1287230 Rollers VICTORY-KIDDER Ltd 30 Nov 1970 [17 Dec 1969] 56762/70 Heading F2U [Also in Division B6] A roller has a surface made up of asymmetrical grooves 17, which are preferably helical and each of which has a steep side 18 and a shallow side 23. Each shallow side 23 is preferably curved about a centre within the roller, and in section is an arc of a circle whose radius is substantially that of the roller. The roller may be resilient, and have a surface of polyurethane or of rubberized material.
