1468664 Regulating IC engine fuel supply LUCAS ELECTRICAL Ltd 22 April 1974 [23 May 1973] 24758/73 Heading F1B [Also in Division F2] A follower 29 for positioning a movable stop 33 of a fuel metering shuttle in the rotor 34 of a metering device is engaged by a cam 12 movable axially and angularly. The cam 12 is moved axially by a pin 27 in an annular cam groove 28, the pin being connected by a lever 26 to a shaft 25 angularly adjustable in accordance with the angle of an engine throttle valve. A rack 15 engaging a pinion 14 on the cam-shaft 13 is operated by a diaphragm 19 subject through an inlet 20 to an engine speed dependent fluid-pressure. The inlet 20 is connected to the outlet (50), Fig. 3 (not shown), of an engine-driven oil pump (36) having radial passages (48) in an impeller (44) between an axial pump inlet (49), connected to an oil reservoir (52), and the pump outlet.
