Abstract

1466903 Self-propelled lawn mower DAHLMANS KLIPPO AB 7 Oct 1974 [10 Oct 1973] 43410/74 Heading A1F A self-propelled lawn mower whose motor 15, Fig. 2, drives both its cutter and its drive wheels comprises a motor output shaft 16 releasably connected to an input shaft 17 of a belt drive 18 whose output member is a pulley 28, Fig. 5, integral with one of the drive wheels 11. The belt and pulley are contained within an elongate housing 20 which is closed by the wheel and a top lid (not shown). The wheel axles 12 are mounted on linkages 13, 14 which are pivoted to the mower's body for height of cut adjustment. The belt 18 runs over tension adjusting pulleys 31, (34), Fig. 4 (not shown) the latter of which is brought into and out of engagement by an over-centre toggle pedal such that drive can or cannot be transmitted to the pulley 28.
