Abstract

146,586. Eckersley, P. P. April 4, 1919. Wireless signalling.-A switch 1 connects the aerial 2 either to a receiving-set 10 or to the inductance 5 of a thermionic generator. The transmitter anode 3 is permanently connected to the aerial 2, so that the high-tension anode circuit is opened and closed by the same switch-contact 4 which connects the aerial to the inductance 5, whereby only two switch-contacts are necessary. The switch may be operated by a magnet 11 energized by the filament battery 12 under control of a key 13.
