[Class 40 (v)] [Also in Group XL (b)] A receiver 6 is connected to a wave-guide 4, with an aerial horn at one end and a transmitter 1 at the other, through a guide 30 including a gas-filled cell 11 for preventing unwanted oscillations from reaching the receiver. A stub guide 37 as described in Specification 597,662 is provided to prevent the weak reception signals from being dissipated in the transmitter 1. An ordinary gas switch 31 is also provided in guide 30. Specification 582,328 also is referred to.
