397,910. Signalling by audible signals. ELECTROACUSTIC GES., Werk Ravensberg, Kiel, Germany. March 2, 1932, No. 6354. Convention date, March 17, 1931. [Class 118 (ii).] A condenser is connected in the circuit of an electromagnetic sound-transmitter energized by an alternating-current generator, the condenser being of such a capacity that the current leads the terminal voltage of the generator. The condenser may be placed either in series or in parallel with the sound transmitter. In the arrangement shown in the Figure, the condenser 3 is placed in the circuit of the transmitter 2 which is supplied from the alternator 1. The transmitter is supplied with a direct magnetizing current from a source 4 through a choke 5. A variable inductance may also be provided to adjust the angle of lead.
