Abstract

1463692 Mobile goods containers PELLY AB 14 June 1974 [15 June 1973] 26544/74 Heading B7B [Also in Division B8] The bottom 6 of a wheeled goods container is hinged at 4, 5 to a fixed end wall 1 and, on its underside, has profile members 14, 15 for bracing the bottom and for use as rails when the container is used on a roller track, the wheels 2 being mounted on supports 3 which co-operate with the profile members 14, 15 to also act as part of the rails. The bottom 6 is strengthened by upper ribs 7-12 and has pawls engageable with the two supports 3 remote from the hinges 4, 5, when the bottom is lowered. The bottom 6 is secured in its raised position by a latch plate on a shaft 16 engageable by a pawl provided on the end wall 1. Side walls are hinged to the end wall 1 and the other end wall may be hinged to either one of the side walls.
