Abstract

A wheelec container comprises a bottom (2), a rack (11) surmounted by a pivoted panel (15), two mesh sides (4, 5), and a door (26) hinged in sleeves (21) so as to be pivotable between a closed position and an open position parallel to the side (4) and lockable in these positions. The panel (15) has elongated rings engaging the cross member (12) of the rack (11), so that the bent-over ends of the top rail (16) can be lifted free of sleeves (17, 18). The door (26) carries a loop (39) which engages over a peg (71) on the side (5) when the door is closed, unlocking of the door (26) requiring lifting. A spring-loaded bolt (32) engages a hole in the loop (39). A vertical bolt adjacent the upper sleeve (21) engages the port (27) to hold the door open. The bottom (2) may include a pivoted plate.
