[Also in Division A4] In a cabinet of the type having vertical object-supporting panels suspended from tracks and slidable between storage and exposed positions, releasable locking means for the panels is actuated by movement of a panel towards its exposed position to lock the other panels in their storage positions and released by movement of a panel towards a storage position. As shown, the cabinet comprises a frame 20, 21, 22 (23), 24 and 25 closed by a cover 26, sides 27, back 28 and a floor 29. A frame 30 connected to uprights 20 and which may be swung downwardly below the cabinet for transport purposes, carries slotted channels (33) each of which supports two sets of rollers 34 from which the panels 38 are suspended. The panels, which are of the "peg-board" type are provided with front flanged plates 40 which in the storage position form a front for the cabinet. In the storage position, each panel 38 seats against a rubber buffer 45 and is provided with a recess 46 to receive a locking bar 47, Fig. 7, pivotally supported at its ends on side frame members 22. The locking bar 47 is formed as a section 47A having oppositely directed flange sections 47B and 47C. A roller 50 inserted at the bottom edge of recess 46 tilts the bar 47 as a panel is withdrawn so that the section 47B lies in the path of a member 52 carried by each panel whereby the other panels are prevented from withdrawal until the withdrawn panel is returned to its storage position whereby its roller 50 tilts the bar 47 to its original position. Movement of the bar 47 to either position is assisted by a spring-loaded rocker (53), Figs 5 and 6 (not shown) associated with one end of the bar 47. All the panels are locked in a storage position by means of a handle 60 which incorporates a key-operated lock (61), Fig. 2 (not shown) and is mounted on a frame upright 20. The handle is connected through linkage (62)-(66), Fig. 3 (not shown) with a lever (67) carrying a roller (70) which engages a cage (71) welded to the bar 47 and by which the bar 47 may be turned to allow or prevent passage of a roller 50 on one of the panels.
