Abstract

The base mounted container has at least one side which is hinged. This side is in two parts, a lower piece (11) hinged to the base and a top shutter (13) hinged to the lower piece itself. The hinges (12, 14) which allow rotation and translation, are collars secured around the appropriate horizontal bars. Relative to the lower piece the shutter may be opened inwards or outwards whilst the lower piece can only be opened inwards. The adjacent sides of the container have corner pieces (15, 17) consisting of at least two vertical and horizontal bars with which the catches (20, 25, 24) on the hinged pieces interlock when in the closed position.
