Abstract

1462526 Resistance compositions CTS CORP 28 Feb 1974 [1 March 1973] 9152/74 Heading C1M An electrical resistance element with a TCR of less than Œ100 PPM/‹ C. over the range -55‹ C. to +125‹ C. is made by mixing powdered glass, RuO 2 powder, a solution of an organo-iridium compound and a liquid carrier, applying the mixture to a high temperature resistant electrically non-conductive substrate, and firing the coating. The glass frit may comprise at least 30%, the Ir resinate 0À1-10% (calculated as metal) and the Ru 2 O 1-67% of the mixture and the vehicle may be ethylcellulose dissolved in pine oil. The organo-Ir compound may be resinate, glycinate, etherate, esterate or naphthenate. Suitable glass frits comprise:-
