Fixing by detachable sockets with lug and flange attachments.-A curved plate E, or a flat plate for a flat-topped brush stock, has downturned flanges K fitting grooves formed in the stock A, and a three-sided socket C in which the stail or handle B is secured by screws J. The flanged plate is fixed by a thumb-screw F and a nut G fixed by nails H to the underside of the stock.
