Abstract

281,494. Hardaher, J. Jan. 13, 1927. Combing - machines.- The dabbing brush for a wool combing-machine is provided with a circular brush B, Figs. 1 and 4, which is situated over the contact point of the two comb circles, and is mounted so as to be capable of being turned slightly by its co-operation with the comb circles. The brush stock A is recessed to receive the brush B the stock of which has an overhanging lip B<1> to seat on the flange O<1> of the stock A. A metal plate P is provided behind the brush B in the brush back C. The stock A is removably secured to the back C by screws &c. to allow the brush B to be renewed.
