Abstract
1459311 Forced-flow gas-fired ovens NEFFWERKE CARL NEFF GmbH 2 Jan 1974 [17 Feb 1973] 00002/74 Heading F4W A gas-fired cooking oven comprises a gas burner 3 in a burner space 5 beneath the cooking space floor 15, a blower impeller 8 mounted behind a plate 10 having a combustion products inlet 11 and outlets 12, an oven outlet 9 and an outlet duct 6 from the burner space 5 terminating below the lower outlets 12, whereby part of the combustion products flow from space 5 is drawn directly through inlet 11 while part of said flow is entrained by the flow of combustion products discharged by impeller 8 through outlets 12. A sheet of aluminium foil or heat insulating material 16 is provided beneath floor 15. The duct 6 extends the width of the burner space 5. The ratio of the total area of outlets 12 to the area of inlet 11 is from 0À45 to 0À85. Each outlet 12 is either rectangular or is circular and provided with a collar.
