Abstract
1414546 Gas-fired cooking ovens CANNON INDUSTRIES Ltd 11 April 1974 [16 Jan 1973] 2137/73 Heading F4W A gas-fired oven with cooking chamber 1 has a fan 15 circulating the oven atmosphere through an injector nozzle 12 and discharging to ducts 17 on either side of the oven, and so back into the chamber through openings 18. The flow of gas through the nozzle creates a low pressure whereby the products of combustion from the oven air intake 4 and gas burner 6 flow rearwards along the passage 5 and up the flue passage 7. Some of these gases are sucked into the fan circuit through the annular space 13 and so pass to the cooling chamber, while an equivalent flow of oven gases is caused to leave the system through the annular gap 14.
