Abstract

1452149 Developing electrostatic images RICOH KK 23 Jan 1974 [24 Jan 1973 7 May 1973] 03059/74 Heading G2H Development electrode 19 receives an electric charge from latent images on photo-conductive drum 11, or from insulating areas on the drum, and is prevented from rising above a specified voltage by being connected to a reference potential such as earth through constant voltage element 23. The development electrode may be made up of segments connected by rectifying diodes, and may be part of either a liquid development apparatus or a magnetic brush apparatus.
