Abstract
1447945 Superconductive circuits INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP 20 Nov 1974 [7 Dec 1973] 50352/74 Heading H3X A superconductive feeder line interconnecting Josephson junction devices 60, 62, 64, Fig. 3, includes sections 68, 70, 74, 76, 80, 82 and 66, 72, 78, 84 of differing characteristic impedance to provide a mismatch between the devices the current reflection at which reduces crosstalk between the devices and resets a junction switched to the V=2#/e state. An impedance ratio of 10 : 1 is exemplified. The impedances may be obtained by selection of superconductor width, selection of thickness of insulation to ground plane and/or selection of insulating material. The superconductors in the output paths to loads Z may have a characteristic impedance value intermediate that of the other two.
