CONSTITUTION:This line is composed of input-output ports 1 to 4, input-output microstrip line 11, anti-podal slot lines 12 and 13, slot cavity 14, and strip conductor 15; the front side of the dielectric substrate is shown by solid lines, and the earth side on the reverse of the dielectric substrate by dotted lines. This is inherent in a parallel type branch line and when characteristic impedance of strip line 11 is denoted by Z0, characteristic impedance values of anti-podal slot lines 12 and 13 formed of slot cavity 14 and strip conductor 15 should be Z0 and Z0/Z<1/2> respectively.
