Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a large isolation, by providing a strip line used for matching to a junction impedance between a ferrimagnetic substance plate and an earth electrode for a magnetic resonance type isolator used at a UHF band. CONSTITUTION:A ferrimagnetic substance plate 2 (dotted line) is inserted into a hole at the center part of a dielectric substrate 1 provided on a single earth conductor, and a junction electrode 4 is joined on the plate 2. The positive and negative reactance circuits used for energizing of rotary magnetic field and comprising a branch line 13 short-circuited to an earth electrode 3' at its termination plus a branch line 12 with an open termination are connected to the two opposite terminals of the electrode 4. At the same time, the impedance converting circuits consisting of a series line 14 and a parallel line 15 are connected to the other two terminals and then to an input/output line 11 and an input/output connector 20. In such constitution, both length lL and lC of the branch lines 13 and 12 are specified respectively to secure a load as a reactance which is equal to a junction impedance between the plate 2 and the electrode 4. Thus a large isolation is obtained.
