1447698 Reciprocating pumps F GARBINI 23 Oct 1974 [29 Oct 1973] 45845/74 Heading F1A A concrete pump comprises cylinders 10, 12 with pistons 14, 16 alternately wound on their discharge strokes by a piston 26 acting through liquid columns 34, 38, e.g. of water, piston 26 being reciprocated via piston-rod 32 by doubleacting pistons 28, 30 actuated by pressurized liquid, e.g. oil, via valves 24A, 24B. Pistons 14, 16 are connected by chain 48 for the return stroke. A valve 18C controls connection of cylinders 10, 12 to a hopper 18B and outlet 18A.
