Abstract

1447378 Sliding roofs W F COENEN 17 Sept 1973 43549/73 Heading B7B An openable roof has a wind deflector 4 spring urged upwardly into the position shown when panel 1 is opened, but retracted into the broken line position when cams 7 carried by the panel 1 engages levers 6 during closure of the panel. The deflector 4 is pivotally connected at 5 to the levers 6 within a water channel 2. The deflector 4 is pivoted to arms 8 of a helical spring 9 which urges the deflector upwardly. The levers 6 may, alternatively, be pressed upwardly by a member separate from the arms 8.
