Abstract

The cladding is for a skylight hinging about a central axis, part of it being secured to the fixed frame and extending over part of the hinged portion which swings downwards, while the other is mounted on the portion swinging upwards and extends over part of the fixed frame. The part fixed to the hinged portion has two channel-shaped sections (14, 15) one on each side of this portion and on the underside and at right angles to the hinge axis. The portion secured to the fixed frame has a U-shaped section (16) covering both the sides and cross-member of the hinged frame. Each channel section (14, 15) is closed at the lower end and can be secured at this end to the hinged frame. The U-shaped upper portion has a flange (18) extending upwards along its rear edge, by which the roof hatch collar surrounding the skylight secures it.
