Abstract

1440218 Mooring floating structures H C BOSCHEN 27 Sept 1973 [10 Oct 1972] 45220/73 Heading B7S Guide track 5 encircles hull 3 of drilling vessel 1 and lies between the top 2 of the hull and the Plimsoll line 6. Carriages 7 in the guide track are attached to anchor lines 8-11 and chain 15 which is driven by sprocket 19 moves the carriages to selected points along the track to control the length of the anchor lines to orient or slew the vessel.
