Abstract

1276606 Floating docks LITTON INDUSTRIES Inc 8 Sept 1970 [2 Jan 1970] 43031/70 Heading B7S A marine installation comprises a floatable drydock 10 having ballast compartments for adjusting its buoyancy and wingwalls 20, 20A of which wingwall 20 is removable, and an underwater platform 15 adjacent the shoreline to support the drydock under ballasted conditions. In the embodiment shown the drydock consists of mutually detachable sections 12, 14, 16, 18 each of which has a removable wingwall.
