1439083 Feeding sheets BURROUGHS CORP 3 June 1974 [2 July 1973] 49429/74 Divided out of 1439082 Heading B8R [Also in Division G3] The control system disclosed in the parent Specification for feeding documents into a transport path in spaced apart manner where the arrangement can provide alternatively a 600 d.p.m. or a 400 d.p.m. throughput rate is described. The claims relate to the operation at the fastest throughput setting (600 d.p.m.) where for documents less than 6 inches long the rate is independent of document length but for documents longer than 6 inches the rate depends on the length of the document by virtue of the trailing edge of the document being used to reset the rate governing counter.
