Abstract

1437666 Fluid-pressure actuators H BERKELIUS 24 April 1974 [26 April 1973] 17998/74 Heading F1D In an actuator having a piston-rod 5, Fig. 1 moved by a bellows 1, the bellows have rings 9 which have an outer diameter at least as large as the outer diameter of the bellows. Hydraulic medium is admitted through a valve 7. The rings abut the wall of a cylinder 2 and guide the bellows. Fig. 2 shows an embodiment in which the rings have resting flanges. The cylinder 14 may be dispensed with as the rings provide guidance for the bellows.
