1491849 Hydraulic actuators BENDITALIA SpA 30 June 1976 [5 Aug 1975] 27280/76 Heading F I D In a hydraulic actuator, the piston 14 has collars 16, 18 adjacent either end and is sealed with respect to the cylinder 10 by a seal 34 in a recess 36 which engages a region 30 of reduced diameter. The seal is axially smaller than the groove and has ridges 36 on its outer periphery.
