1447555 Fluid-pressure operated actuators ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 6 Dec 1973 [12 Dec 1972] 56474/73 Heading F1D A fluid-pressure operated actuator comprises a movable piston 10 with a cylindrical extension 11 which houses a piston 13 attached to an end closure 3 by a rod 12. To extend the piston-rod 6, fluid is admitted to chambers 4', 9' through ducts 21, 22, 26, 24, 23. Pressure is thus applied between pistons 10 and 13 and also to the end-face of the cylindrical extension 11. To retract the rod 6 fluid is supplied through ducts 18, 17, 16, and 15 to chambers 4, 9.
