Abstract

1436956 Seat slides T SESSA 19 Oct 1973 [13 Nov 1972] 48820/73 Heading A4J The upper and lower rails 2, 1 respectively of a seat slide assembly are locked in adjusted position by the engagement of a tooth 18 with one of a number of holes 8 in the lower rail and a hole 19 in the upper rail, the tooth being formed integrally with a hand operated lever 16 pivotally connected to a lateral projection 14 on the upper rail and spring-biased into the locked position. To prevent movement of the lever, other than about the pivot, the upper rail may be formed with two vertically spaced, laterally projecting prongs 20.
