Abstract

1512064 Ratchet mechanism AMERICAN MFG CO Inc 16 May 1975 [19 June 1974] 21001/75 Heading F2Q [Also in Divisions H1 and G4] A number wheel 14 is stepped in either direction by corresponding movement up or down of a lever 15 which is connected by a link 18 to a pivotally mounted member 27 which is in operative driving engagement with a lateral surface of the numeral wheel 14, and means are provided for restraining reverse movement of the wheel 14 when the lever 15 is restored to its neutral position. A decimal-binary switching means is located at the side of the wheel 14.
