1490796 Seat slides A & M COUSIN & CIE ETABS COUSIN FRERES 31 Jan 1975 [31 Jan 1974] 4302/75 Heading A4J The upper rail 5 of a seat slide is provided with a boss 16 and a bracket 18 which fit within the lower rail 1 to prevent the two rails being torn apart when a stress is applied to the upper rail through a seat belt attached to the seat. The rails are locked in adjusted position by engagement of a pair of spaced locking fingers 9, 10 rotatably mounted on the lower rail 1 with one of a plurality of pairs of notches 15 in the upper rail 5. A shaft 17 for securing the upper rail to the seat extends through the boss.
