Abstract

1433888 Portable containers; snap-on closures AMERICAN HOSPITAL SUPPLY CORP 6 June 1973 [19 June 1972] 26931/73 Headings B8D and B8T [Also in Divisions A5 and F2] A junction piece 12 interconnecting a humidifier bottle (1), a flow meter (34) and an inhalation therapy breathing mask (36) has a through passage 41 for dry gas, surrounded by an outlet passage 44. Rib 72 is a snap fit behind shoulder 74 permanently to retain the junction piece 12 in the neck 4 of the bottle (1). The bottle is initially sealed with a barrier film 8, which is torn off before the junction piece is inserted. Union nut 26 has a snap-on cover 60. A flexible pressure relief system 49 is provided.
