1432019 Crude oil compositions TEXACO DEVELOPMENT CORP 14 May 1973 [21 June 1972] 22816/73 Heading C5E A waxy crude oil of high pour point but low sulphur content is blended with a low-wax crude of low pour point but high sulphur content and with 0À01 to 0À50% of an oil-soluble polyvinyl alkyl ether in which the alkyl group is a straight chain of 16 to 30 carbon atoms. The blend has a low pour point and low sulphur content, making it suitable for transport by pipeline.
