1431986 Crude oil compositions TEXACO DEVELOPMENT CORP 21 May 1973 [21 June 1972] 24023/73 Heading C5E A waxy crude oil of high pour point but low sulphur content is blended with 2 to 20% (weight) of a residuum high in asphaltenes and 0À01 to 0À5% (weight) of a copolymer of ethylene and a vinyl ester, particularly vinyl acetate. The blend has a low pour point, making it suitable for transport by pipeline.
