1431771 Preservafive IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 22 June 1973 [3 July 1972] 31045/72 Headings A2B and A2D [Also in Division A5] A preservative for animal feedstuffs, including forage, hay, grain and compound feeds comprises isobutyric acid (or a salt or ester thereof) in admixture with formalin or isobutyraldehyde. The preservative may be used in an amount of 0.1% to 5% by weight of the feedstuff. The treatment of hay is exemplified.
