Abstract

1440667 Treating crops EASTMAN KODAK CO 15 Nov 1973 [15 Nov 1972] 53107/73 Headings A2B and A2D [Also in Division A5] Crops and animal feedstuffs are preserved by the addition thereto of a fungicidal solution comprising 0.2% to 40%, expressed as grams per 100 ml., of at least one solid acid which is benzoic, sorbic or dehydroacetic acid, or a mixture thereof, dissolved in at least one C 1 -C 4 fatty acid. Such solutions diluted with 10% to 70%, by volume of the diluted solution, of water, may also be used for the same purpose. Cereals, nuts, soybeans, cottonseed meal, soybean meal, hay, silage, molasses feed, grain sorghum, safflower seeds, safflower meal, linseed meal, fish meal, tankage, animal meals and rapeseed may be thus treated.
