Abstract

1431494 Forging EUMUCO AG FUR MASCHINENBAU 6 June 1973 [28 June 1972] 27086/73 Heading B3H In a forging press having a tool-carrying ram 9 driven by an eccentric shaft 2, 7 via a connecting rod 8, a pin 11 for varying the stroke of the ram 9 is positioned between the connecting rod 8 and ram 9, the pin 11 having different radius portions 14, 15 joining tangentially to one another on one side of the pin 11 which is provided at each end with studs 11a which are embraced by the connecting rod 8. The pin 11 is rotatable about the axis 13 of the studs 1la so as to adjust the stroke of the ram 9 by a device 25 having a worm 27 which meshes with worm teeth 26 on the pin 11. Pivoted at 23 to the ram 9 is a clamping member 18 which clamps the pin 11 in its adjusted position by cylinders 19.
