1430818 Doors PROMAT GES FUR MODERNE WERKSTOFFE mbH & CO KG 17 Sept 1973 [23 Sept 1972] 43586/73 Heading E1J A fire door comprises a frame 12, cover plates 13, 14, covering the frame and a filling plate 15 within the frame, the frame being made up of glued-together strips 19 disposed transversely of the cover plates, the frame and cover plates being of asbestos silicate. Plates 13, 14 respectively comprise horizontal and vertical strips extending parallel to the door plane, the fibres of the strips extending longitudinally. Plate 15 is of asbestos silicate or of other mineral fibre. Fibre boards 18 are glued to plates 13. A rabbeted strip 22 of asbestos silicate is glued along the frame. A jamb liner comprises plates 28 of asbestos silicate, secured together by glue and plates 29, and fibre mat 35.
