Abstract

143,071. Jameson, E. E., and Kameron, T. June 19,1919. Detachable-rim attachments to wheels.-The periphery of the felloe 12 is bevelled and has inclined slots 16 extending from a stop-flange 14 to the other side, and the rim is provided with a correspondingly bevelled inner surface and shoulder 14a and a series of projections engaging the slots. The parts are locked by a ratchet surface 29 on the rim engaged by a spring-pressed ratchet plate 24 mounted in a recess on the felloe. The locking-device is released by the rod 27 and a cam-lever 31.
