1429985 Moulding ceramic material NIKEX NEHEZIPARI KULKERESKEDELMI VALLALAT 16 May 1974 21799/74 Heading B5A In a process for the production of ceramic articles, e.g. tiles, crockery, from primary stone, e.g. quarry rubble, containing 40-85% SiO 2 and 5-20% Al 2 O 3 by weight, the melting point of which is less than 1450‹ C., the material is broken down to a particle size of 20 mm. or less and formed into groups of different particle sizes, the material of the individual groups or mixture of such groups being then formed into the desired shape preferably under pressure and baked at a temperature between 1000‹ and 1250‹ C. Natural or synthetic pigments may be added. For the production of crockery the material may be milled to a size less than 0À065 mm.
