Carrying.-A rifle sling of the type described in Specification 19232/11 is in the form of a looped strap Q secured detachably by buckles D to metal D<1> on a bandoleer. The rifle is passed as far as the small of the butt between the loop of the strap and a double runner R, the runner thereupon being tightened. A metal spring clip, secured to a single runner S, is fixed by a catch s<1> to the strap.
