Abstract

1429815 Containers BURGER EISENWERKE AG 22 Nov 1973 [31 Jan 1973] 54359/73 Heading F4H A cold storage or transport container comprises within an outer casing 11 having a cover 12, a cooling compartment 14 adapted to contain solid CO 2 , and a closed storage compartment 17 spaced from the walls of the outer casing and from a partition 16 supporting the CO 2 . With solid CO 2 disposed within compartment 14, cold gas passes through apertures in the partition 16 and via passageways 23, 24 to an adjustable outlet exhaust 10a. The storage chamber 17 which has at least one door and shelves 22, may also include pressure compensating apertures opening directly into the atmosphere. The passageway 23 may extend around three sides of the container.
