Abstract

142,980. Golds, A. March 29, 1919. Knobs, attaching. -The knob is attached to a screwed spindle by means of a nut A slotted at E so as to engage with a tooth or projection F on the knob, and a spring clip C which engages in peripheral grooves D in the parts A, F when these are in position with the grooves in alinement. The nut A is first adjusted along the spindle to the necessary position, the knob B, which has a square bore, is slipped on, and the clip C is then fitted into the grooves.
