1428427 Rotary positive-displacement fluidmachines DANFOSS AS 11 June 1973 [13 June 1972] 27594/73 Heading F1F In a gerotor pump, or motor, having a rotary valve-member 24 and a non-rotary plate 26 to control the flow of working fluid between the working chambers and inlet and outlet ports 28, 29, the said member and plate are urged towards a fixed plate 3 by the thrust of the high-pressure working-fluid on an annular surface 34, or 35, so as to minimize leakage across the side faces of the member. Preferably, O-rings 32, 33 delimit the surface 34, the member 24 is coupled to an input, or output, shaft 13 by keys 22, pins 27 prevent the plate 26 rotating, the shaft 13 and a planetary internally-toothed wheel 20 are inter-connected by a splined shaft 15 and rollers 21 constitute the teeth of the wheel 20, which mesh with internal teeth on a fixed ring 4.
