Abstract

1428428 Rotary positive-displacement fluid-machines DANFOSS AS 11 June 1973 [19 June 1972] 27595/73 Heading F1F In a gerotor pump, or motor, having a rotary valve-member 33 to control the flow of working fluid between the working chambers and inlet and outlet ports 34, 35, a planetary externally-toothed wheel 23 is coupled to an input, or output, shaft 13 by a partially hollow shaft 20 and to the member 33 by a shaft 26 and linkage means such as a rod 29, extending with clearance through openings 30. This arrangement is intended to obviate misalignment of the member 33 with the wheel 23 owing to torsion in the shaft 20. Rollers may constitute the teeth of the wheel 23, which mesh with internal teeth of a fixed ring 4. The rod 29 may either have a rectangular or circular profile in cross-section, Figs. 2 and 4 (not shown), or be replaced with two cylindrical rods disposed side by side with each other, Fig. 3 (not shown).
