Abstract

1428143 Cartons; jacketed containers CIBA GEIGY AG 30 Aug 1973 [13 Sept 1972] 40982/73 Headings B8P and B8D A carton comprising an outer cardboard box 1 and an inner plastics container, is characterized in that a hinged lid 1b of the box 1 and a snapon lid 2a of the plastics container are coupled together for simultaneous movement of the lids between the open and closed positions. The top of the box is formed by flaps 3a, 3b 3c, 3d which extend from the side walls. Two projecting tabs 4 extend from opposed sides of the lid 2a and are trapped between the flaps 3a-3d when the box is first closed. A tear strip 5b extends round three sides of the box and permits the lid 1b to be hinged about a hinge line 5a.
