Conventionally, so-called hard cases have been mainly used as cases for storing stringed instruments such as guitars, violins, and stringed instruments. The lid and storage box of this hard case are usually made of plywood or cardboard as a core material. After making a mold of the instrument using these core materials, a puff finish is applied, and then the outer surface is made of natural material as an exterior material. A soft material such as leather, vinyl leather, or nylon is attached, and as an interior material, a multilayer sheet member made by bonding a storage object protection material such as foamed urethane and melton etc. is attached to the core material. There is. The lid body and the storage box created as described above are separately manufactured into a fitted box shape, and then processed and assembled. In addition, as an alternative to the hard case, there is a so-called soft case in which the entire storage case is formed by using a flexible material such as urethane as a base material and bonding vinyl leather, nylon, etc. to the front and back sides of the base material.

However, in manufacturing a hard case, it is necessary to form the core material to fit the shape of the instrument, which has many curved parts, and then apply puff processing to the surface of the core material to make it easier to attach the exterior and interior materials. Furthermore, since these lids and storage boxes are manufactured separately in the shape of a fitted box, the lids must be placed on the storage box with a certain degree of precision, which not only requires skilled technique. , the number of steps in the manufacturing process increased, leading to higher costs.

First, the core material 4 will be explained. As shown in FIG. It is molded to match the shape of the instrument being played. FIGS. 3(A) and 3(II) show examples of the core material, and in the core material 4 in FIG. 3(A), the bottom surface portion 7 and the surrounding wall 8 are integrally formed. Further, in the core material 4a shown in FIG. 0, the bottom portion 7a and the surrounding wall 8a are separated from each other, and the surrounding wall 8a is divided vertically into a pair. It goes without saying that various embodiments of the core material 4.4a can be considered in addition to the above. Further, it is desirable that the material of these core materials be a lightweight synthetic resin member such as the above-mentioned foamed steel foam 2 foamed polyethylene, but it is also possible to use pole paper, plywood, etc. used in conventional hard cases.

It is made of a flexible material such as nylon or natural leather, and one side 10 of a fastener is attached near the upper edge of the opening of the exterior material 5. Further, a lid 3 is attached to the exterior material 5, and the lid 3 is composed of a fixed lid 3a and an open/close lid 3b. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the fixed lid 3a is placed over the open end of the exterior material 5, excluding the part that accommodates the rod of the stringed instrument, so as to partially close the opening, and also to cover the exterior. It is fixed to the material 5 by sewing or other means. On the other hand, open and close! 3b is bendable with respect to the fixed lid 3a and is attached to extend from the side edge of the fixed 1i3a, and furthermore, the elongated tip 3C of the opening/closing lid 3b accommodates the rod of the stringed instrument of the exterior material 5. It is bendably attached to the side edge 5a of the elongated opening end. The opening/closing lid 3b is provided with a fastener surface 10a on the peripheral edge thereof, which forms a pair with one side 10 of the fastener provided on the exterior material.
By unlatching 0a from each other, the opening of the exterior material 5, that is, the storage box 2 in FIG. 1, can be opened and closed. By the way, the mounting position of the fastener surface 10Φ is the exterior material 5.
It is not limited to the outside of the opening end of the exterior material 5, but may be attached to an intermediate position on the outside surface of the exterior material 5. In that case, the corner portion may be placed around the opening end of the exterior material 5 (storage box 2) at the periphery of the opening/closing lid 3b. In the figure, the fixed lid 3a and opening/closing M3b that constitute the lid 3, which is a handle for transporting the storage case, are made of vinyl leather or nylon on the upper surface of a core material 11 made of styrofoam, foamed polyethylene, or the like.

As shown in FIG. 3A, first, the opening/closing lid 3a is opened and the core material 4 is inserted into the bag-shaped exterior material 5. Subsequently, as shown in the same figure (0), the interior material 6 is placed on the inner wall surface of the core material 4,
Thereafter, the respective edges of the exterior material 5 and interior material 6 are overlapped and fastened 14 by sewing or gluing (see FIG.

In this manufacturing method, as shown in FIG.
After opening a, the bottom surface portion 7a of the core material 4a is inserted into the inner bottom surface of the exterior material 5. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 11 (11), the bottom part 7a is covered with the interior material 6, and its peripheral edge is fixed 15 to the exterior material 5 by means such as sewing or gluing. Next, the surrounding wall 8a is inserted into the inner surface of the outer covering material 5 (FIG. 3(c)).Then, in the same manner as described above, cover the inner wall 8a with the inner bottom surface of the outer covering material 5. The peripheral edge is fastened 16 to the exterior material 5, and the surrounding wall 8a is fixed to the inner surface of the exterior material 5. In the above manufacturing method, the exterior material 5 and the interior material 6 are fixed to the core material 4.4a by sewing, gluing, or other means at appropriate locations to prevent them from peeling off from the core material 4.4a. As explained above, in the storage case of the present invention, the core material is inserted into the exterior material that has been molded in advance to match the core material, and the inner wall surface of the core material is covered with the interior material. Since the storage box is formed by covering the case from the inside and outside, there is no need to attach exterior and interior materials to the surface of the core material as in conventional hard cases. Since there is no such thing, manufacturing becomes easy and costs can be reduced. Further, since there is no need to form the storage box in a custom shape as in the past, the storage box can be manufactured without requiring skilled techniques. Furthermore, since the pre-molded exterior material can be made in the same manner as conventional soft cases, it can be designed to suit a variety of tastes and is highly fashionable. In addition, by using lightweight synthetic resin materials such as expanded polystyrene and expanded polyethylene for the core material, a lightweight storage case can be obtained, which has excellent effects that combine the advantages of conventional hard cases and soft cases. be.
